Be it a happy accident, the aligning of the stars or a serendipitous convergence of all things good that created Stevie P and To3 (playfully standing for The other 3).  A line up brought together by  journeyman blues guitarist Stevie P to play the first impromptu show having only a common song list but never having rehearsed together.  If truth be told, three of the four hadn’t even met.  The chemistry was immediately evident as the band plowed through 3 hours of music to the delight of the small but enthusiastic crowd.  Stevie conducted a great show and Phil’s solid drumming glued it all together.  It was also the first time Phil shared his gatorade with Todd, staving off some unfortunate heat stroke heading Todd’s way — A funny tradition that continues (sharing gatorade, not heat stroke).  With a couple lineup changes; moving Todd to guitar and keyboard and bringing in Kevin on bass, along with a few rehearsals, Steve P and To3 have solidified into a musical force for the discerning blues listener.

STEVIE P

Stevie “P” hails from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A bluesman who began playing guitar at age 11 with a focus on the blues style. He has performed professionally for almost 50 years with a searing and soulful guitar style similar to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa.

His powerful vocal style has been compared to the legendary Joe Cocker, and as a true bluesman entertainer, he has shared the stage with many Blues legends such as Albert King, John Mayall, Robben Ford, Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya just to name but a few.

KEVIN

The newest proud member of To3 is Kevin Crouch – slappin da bass. He is a coastal Virginia native and lifelong classic blues/rock lover. “If I can provide the bottom end rhythms that get folks rockin’ out, singing along, and forgetting about their problems for a while – then that is a very good night!”

Kevins addition was just as serendipitous as the very first time the group played and has been the perfect completion to the group.

TODD

A mixture of guitar, keyboards and bass, Todd has become the jack-of-all-trades for To3, bringing a varied sense of musicality that communicates the blues vision from a different perspective.

Hailing from Colorado Spring originally, he ventured out to see what the world held only to find the pleasure in coming back home to discover Stevie P and the rest of To3.
